Why the Cheyenne over other dummies:
Heeler: The legs on the Cheyenne dummy are only 6" off the ground and 24" wide at the base.If you want to catch, you need to have your bottom strand on the ground and push the tip of your rope all the way through.
Dummies that hop teach you to deliver when they're at the highest position, and you can catch both legs even if your bottom strand is 20" off the ground; and then you wonder why you are not successful in the arena. They may be fancy, but the truth is you don't need fancy to be successful!
Header: The solid head w/ a horn wrap offers the most realistic feel on the market today. You wouldn't rope a live steer without one so why start now. Practice going to the horn while continuing to ride your horse. Collapsible horns are nice when used correctly. Never STOP your horse right after you catch. Your horse will adopt this pattern and do just that when you rope live steers. We have all seen a header have problems getting his horse to face. Now you know why!

"Hi,I purchased a Cheyenne roping dummy from you around 6 months ago. I just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed it. It is simple, light weight, and really does a good job for horse training as well as practicing! I am a header and I bought it just to keep my horses in shape and working right, but since I have purchased it I have become a lot more consistent on the heel side! Even though the legs are stationary you have to rope it right to catch. I just wanted to let you know I appreciate y'all making an affordable product that really works. I recommend it to all my roping buddies, and I will continue to! Thank you for showing your support for Christian values by placing scripture at the bottom of your web page.Thank you,Justin M. of Texas"

"We have been using your ropesteer dummy to help train my clients and keep them tuned up while traveling. Due to the ability to transport the dummy in the tackroom of our trailer, it has been a great aid in keeping clients tuned up. The ropesteer is a great aid in allowing my clients to finish in the top 10 at the AQHA Ranch World Show. Keep it up."

"Using the Cheyenne roping dummy, I can now start roping off a green broke horse in a fraction of the time it used to take."

"My kids have dramatically improved their skills at the jr rodeo level. The Cheyenne has made them better and more consistent. Because it is so portable we can take it with us on the road and they can rope it right before their run. Thanks!"
